Trans-Atlantic also 2013 – towing a warp:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86zFUT-L-UQ   The audio on this video is no good – too much wind noise. We were in 25 – 30 knots (apparent) from behind, running wing on wing (reefed) and the boat was making 11 – 14 knots – surfing down waves and the bow was tending to turn up into the waves, so we deployed a warp – 300 ft of line with a 10 -15ft length of chain on the end. This slowed us nicely to 8 – 9 knots and kept the bow from rounding up. Big seas evident at about the 1:00 minute mark. This day and the next were two of our fastest – giving us consecutive 200 mile days! Nice!
